Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar observed the martyrdom day of the great revolutionary nationalist Shahid-e-Azam Udham Singh with immense patriotic fervor. S. Udham Singh Ji a man of immense vigor and strength avenged Jallianwala Bagh massacre and thus laid the foundation of the freedom for the nation. Miss Deeksha (TGT Social Science) acquainted the students about the supreme sacrifices made by S. Udham Singh Ji. She added that the legacy bestowed by the martyrs who sacrificed their lives at the altar of freedom can never be forgotten. Chirag and Lakshya (class IV) aroused the feelings of patriotism among the students with their mesmerizing but thunderous poem – Aag Jo Seene Mein Jalti Hai…………….. Harshnoor (class I) recited melodious poem ‘Desh Ki Shaan Bachane Wale’ dedicated to our gallant freedom fighters. Slogan raised by the enthusiastic bhartiyans ‘Inquilab Zindabad’ reverberated the whole campus.
Principal, Mrs. Bandana Sethi exhorted the young Bhartiyans to seek inspiration from the supreme sacrifices made by Shaheed-e-Azam S. Udham Singh Ji for the eradication of social evils from the society and inspired the masses to contribute relentlessly and unconditionally for the upliftment of the nation.
